A man has died after crashing his car into a Pakenham supermarket overnight.

The man was reportedly driving along Olympic Way before veering off the road and crashing into a supermarket just before 4am on Saturday.

The force of the collision caused part of a concrete wall to collapse on the vehicle, trapping and ultimately killing the man inside.
