A woman was assaulted in a fiery road-rage incident with another female motorist in Corio, prompting a police investigation.
The injured woman took herself to Corio police station about 1pm on Tuesday to report the alleged assault.
Investigators were told a woman allegedly assaulted her on Blue Stone Bridge Rd following a road-rage incident.
“She was taken to hospital with minor injuries,” a Victoria Police spokeswoman said.
“Investigations are ongoing into the exact circumstances of the incident.”
Ambulance Victoria said paramedics assessed one person with upper body injuries who was taken to Geelong Hospital in a stable condition.
The investigation remains ongoing.
