A family gathering at a large rural property in Victoria’s high country has ended in tragedy after a man and 13-year-old girl were killed in a buggy rollover.

A man and a teenage girl have died in a buggy rollover in Victoria’s high country on Saturday night.
Emergency services were called to a property in Tubbut – about two hours north of Orbost in far east Gippsland – just before 11pm yesterday.
The driver, a 47-year-old NSW man, and a 13-year-old girl from Nicholson, east of Bairnsdale, died at the scene.
A 12-year-old NSW boy was taken to Bega Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Paramedics treated a second 47-year-old man, also from Nicholson, for minor injuries.
The Herald Sun understands a family gathering was being held at the large property when the buggy rolled.
It is believed the owners do not live at the sparse site but had travelled from a nearby border town to host the gathering.
Victoria Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
