Ben Simmons’ sister has doubled down on shock abuse claims after the Simmons family denied her half-brother — who is also the NBA star’s manager — molested her.

The sister of basketball sensation Ben Simmons hasn’t backed down after making shock claims that have embroiled her family in an ugly feud.

Melbourne-based mother Olivia alleged she had been abused by their half-brother, Sean Tribe, since the age of three.

She detailed her ordeal as a child, saying Tribe, who is also Simmons’ manager, molested her from a young age.

Tribe released a statement on Saturday night, which was said to be on behalf of the Simmons family, denying Olivia’s claims and alleging she had been battling mental illness issues.

The Herald Sun is not suggesting the allegations are true, only that they have been made.

Olivia and star Box Hill basketball export Ben are two of six Simmons siblings and only last week, Simmons — whose net worth is said to be around $75m — gave Tribe a car for his birthday.

Olivia, 29, a former Arizona State Sun Devils player, doubled down on her allegations on Monday.

“I am many things but a liar is not one of them,’’ she tweeted.

“I’m never going to stop speaking because what happened to me changed me, the way i think and how safe I feel around certain people.

“I’m dealing with someone who literally used MY last name for a bulls--- statement.”

She added: “Nobody in their right mind would make this up & I will tell my entire story when I’m ready ... I have nothing but my truth to protect me & it will because I’m so removed from thew (sic) TRIBES it’s not funny. I’m a Simmons. The truth shall set you free.”

Olivia had said revealing her trauma wasn’t about anyone’s reputation and that she had been silenced for years.

Amid a series of explosive tweets revealed on Sunday by the Herald Sun, she wrote: “2021 is the year I am completely honest. I’m tired of this facade just ’cause my brother is famous. There’s real-life s--- going on and I’m going to never be afraid to speak up because money doesn’t control me. Morals and values are more important.”

She added: “At the end of the day I was molested by my half-brother for years from age three. I’ve been asking for therapy but my family would rather sweep it under the rug because it could damage my brother’s brand.

“I’m over hiding.

“Here are the facts. I was molested by my half-brother Sean Tribe. I have had PTSD since then. My sexual history started at eight because I didn’t understand what sex even was because my brother did it to me. Again my uterus was a mess and the documentation doesn’t lie. The End.”

Olivia added that her mother knew and it was time to end the cycle of abuse after her flashbacks started in 2016 when she also attempted suicide. The Herald Sun is not suggesting this allegation is true.

Olivia tweeted: “She doesn’t ever want to discuss these things because she got the life she was aiming for. She often says ‘I should’ve just had Ben’.

“I’ve been silenced for years and this is the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

“Trust me, money and power is a bitch but karma is even worse. May everyone get what they deserve.”

Olivia disputed the statement released by Tribe from lawyers for the family, tweeting: “You can’t paint me out to be crazy. I have PTSD because you molested me.”

That statement released on Tribe’s Instagram and Twitter accounts on Saturday night, read in part: “We are deeply saddened by the false allegations made on Twitter this week by our daughter and sister, Olivia Simmons, against her brother.

“As a family we are devastated that we even have to release this statement. The allegations she made never happened. Her brother and the entire family deny them.

“Unfortunately, Olivia has mental health issues and has been in and out of treatment for much of her life. We love her very much and our hearts break for her. Still, we do not understand why she would fabricate these allegations.”

Olivia claimed when she called her father — who is not Tribe’s father — he said: “What statement?” She also says Tribe was trying to force her to post a false statement.

“That’s the problem, my dad isn’t his dad but he sure does like to use our last name for false statements,’’ she wrote.

“I gain nothing from opening up about traumatic event (sic) other than healing and helping others.

“I was molested, it ruined my life, I am now recovering.”

Simmons, who has been in career-best form in the NBA with the Philadelphia 76ers, is very close to Olivia.

In 2018 Simmons flew back from the US to be with her after her young daughter had been diagnosed with a rare brain condition.

In 2016, the Simmons family was part of a documentary where it was revealed Olivia had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
