Arrest after gunshot fired over Southern Cross Station
A bullet fired in Docklands is believed to have flown over Southern Cross Station and travelled at least 600 metres before hitting an apartment.

A man has been arrested by police after a gunshot was allegedly fired from a Docklands tower.
The bullet, which hit an apartment, is believed to have travelled at least 600 metres.
It is likely to have travelled over Southern Cross railway station or Marvel Stadium.
Police seized guns, drugs and cash after raiding a Docklands apartment on Friday morning.
The raid followed an investigation into two separate incidents in March and June where a gun was allegedly fired.
Earlier this month police were called to an apartment building in Melbourne’s CBD after a bullet pierced a window and was found in an upper floor apartment.
That episode was later linked to an earlier incident in March, where a bullet hole was found in a car parked in a Docklands car park.
It is not clear whether either incident was targeted or random.
Police executed a search warrant at a Harbour Esplanade apartment building, where three firearms along with ammunition, cash and cannabis were seized.
The weapons seized will undergo ballistic testing to work out if they have been used in other offending.
A 28-year old man was arrested and charged with possessing a trafficable quantity of firearms, two counts of using a category B firearm, reckless conduct endangering life, two counts of possessing a general category handgun, criminal damage and trafficking cannabis.
