Two men have now been charged over the brutal attack on AFL player Jack Ziebell.
The retiring North Melbourne player was pushed onto Commercial Road and kicked and punched in the face outside The Osborne Rooftop and Bar in South Yarra.
A 29 year-old Narre Warren man joins the 21 year-old Narre Warren man charged on Monday with affray for the assault.
The two men presented themselves to Prahan police station on Monday after the incident which left Ziebell requiring surgery for a suspected broken nose.
Ziebell was celebrating his retirement with teammates and others at the South Yarra venue before violence erupted at about 1am.
Police believe the men who were charged are linked to an earlier scuffle at the venue which resulted in a group of men being removed from the Osborne.
The Narre Warren men have both been bailed and will appear before the Melbourne Magistrates Court on 24 October.
