A teenager is accused of using a golf club to brutally assault a 63-year-old man who later died from his injuries.

A Benalla man has died 17 days after allegedly being assaulted by a teenager in the northeast Victorian town.
The 63-year-old was found lying injured on Ballintine St at 7.10am on October 11.
He died from his injuries – allegedly inflicted with a golf club – in hospital on Saturday.
A Victoria Police statement said a 19-year-old Benalla man was charged with intentionally causing serious injury, recklessly causing serious injury and affray two days after the victim was found.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Wangaratta Magistrates’ Court on November 6.
The statement did not mention any possible upgrading of charges in the aftermath of the man’s death.
The victim had reportedly been riding a modified ride-on mower earlier on the night before he was found.
