An actor convicted of rape has been forced out of Australia back to England despite living in Victoria, Sydney and Queensland over the past 50 years.

A former actor and casting agent convicted of rape and dishonesty has been ordered out of Australia back to England after losing an 11th hour bid to remain in the country that he has called home for 50 years.

David Nigel Bullmore migrated to Australia from his native UK aged four but now aged 61 years was ordered to be deported by Australian Border Force after losing a Federal Court challenge to stay.

But he had already jumped before being pushed and was now living in a squalid boarding house in south East London vowing to get back to Australia.

Bullmore took Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton to the Federal Court on the grounds of denial of procedural fairness in the orders for his removal, which he claimed were based on a false conviction.

Bullmore has a history of deception, theft and dishonesty convictions and jail time in the late 1990s and 2000s and was banned in 2016 by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission from running companies because he was an undischarged bankrupt.

But his deportation order came after he was also jailed for three years in 2016, found guilty of sneaking into a former business associate’s bedroom in Melbourne in 2008 after hearing she was recently single.

The pair drank together and the woman offered him a couch for the night but he would later strip and rape her as she lay powerless to fight back in fear of waking her three children and exposing them to the horrific scene.

Bullmore, who appears to have registered a new finance business with Companies House in the UK under the name David King Moore, left Australia in late 2019 ahead of the federal court decision and expected forced removal and judicial orders to pay the Commonwealth legal costs.

He had been fighting his conviction and expulsion orders through various courts including Victorian Court of Appeal, the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and the Federal Court including demanding challenges to evidence held by Victoria Police and Queensland Police and to compel officers to be cross examined.

He spent most of his life living in those two states as well as Sydney where he claimed “film audition commitments” as he appealed for Brisbane and Gold Coast “D+ boobs” models to sign up to his agency with auditions in Coomera and in Sydney “centrefold looking type” women to join his group in a Zombie alien seductress Vimeo movie project “with implied nudity” and other NSW girls – “who must look late teens” – for a separate Tropfest film.

He posted sick online videos of himself with a bound woman as part of a show reel for his own “menacing” acting ability. He also wrote a self-help dating book titled Fishing For Females.

Among his AAT and Federal court challenges was a ruling that he posed a “real” risk of sexual reoffending, which he claimed was “irrational, illogical or unreasonable”.

It was rejected in a lengthy summary which concluded he was in complete denial over all of his criminal history including the rape conviction.

This is supported in a LinkedIn post he recently made: “After living in Australia for over fifty years, I was accused of a crime I did not commit now I am fighting to retain my “Permanent Residency” visa! … I am looking for a solicitor who has the balls to take on the government and act pro bono.”

When visited by News Corp Australia in his rundown boarding house in London’s south east, a gaunt-looking Bullmore said life goes on.

“Yeah, just keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going to the High Court if I have to, it’s not constitutional what they are doing, it’s a total breach of the constitution when it comes to British citizens because we’re not aliens,” he said.

“Under the constitution they have no right but they have made legislation contrary to the constitution. I’ll take it to the High Court, I’ll win it easily. It might take me five years.”
