PASSENGERS on a Virgin Australia flight were stunned by an impromptu performance on the plane. So what happened?

FORGET about Mr Bean re-runs, passengers on a Virgin Australia flight from Brisbane to Sydney had the ultimate in-flight entertainment when the cast of the Lion King musical broke into song.

As everyone waited for the last few passengers to board the flight on Monday, the cast decided to take it upon themselves to keep everyone in good spirits with a stirring rendition of The Circle of Life.

Some of the other passengers looked a little confused at first, but by the end of the impromptu performance everyone was applauding.
