TWO Thavorn Hotels and Resorts in Phuket, Thailand have reopened after undergoing renovations worth more than $17 million.

TWO Thavorn Hotels and Resorts properties in Phuket, Thailand, have reopened after undergoing major renovations worth more than $17 million.

The beachfront Thavorn Palm Beach Resort at Karon Beach has seen all 209 rooms refurbished in a modern Thai style with strong use of natural materials. The bungalows at Thavorn Beach Village and Spa at Nakalay Bay have been converted into luxury, airconditioned villas with beachfront, beachside or garden views.

All the villas have a large private terrace and "semi-outdoor bathroom" with a clear panelled roof.

Prices at Thavorn Palm Beach Resort start from $A106 a room during low season (April-October) and from $206 during the high season from (November-March), including buffet breakfast daily. Prices at Thavorn Beach Village & Spa start from $123 a room during the (low season) and $347 a room during the (high season).
