FIJI Airways will launch direct Sydney-Suva services from May 2.
The twice-weekly flights will provide Australians with better access to the Fijian capital, Pacific Harbour and the outer islands of Beqa, Laucala and Vatulale.
“We’re excited about the introduction of this new service, which will allow Australian travellers to further explore and experience all that Fiji has to offer,” Fiji Airways managing director Stefan Pichler said. “The new service is a clear demonstration of our desire to grow our network, and boost Fijian tourism and economy.”
The flights, which will be operated by Boeing 737-700 aircraft, will operate on Mondays and Fridays, with a morning departure from Suva and an afternoon departure from Sydney.
