PATRICK Thorendahl has rubbed shoulders with Barack Obama, posed for selfies with Kim Kardashian and holidayed with Jay-Z and Beyonce.

He's besties with the who's who of Hollywood, including Rihanna, Kanye West and Halle Berry.

But he's never even sat in the same room as these celebrities, let alone spoken to them. He's just really, really good at Photoshop.

The 26-year-old freelance designer, who goes by the pseudonym Peejet, has become an Instagram star, famous for his hilarious photos where he Photoshops himself into images of celebrities.

Peejet, who lives in New York City, started this two years ago and now has almost 130,000 followers on Instagram. It takes him only 30 minutes to create each image.

"I just started doing it to make my friends laugh," he told news.com.au. "I don't have any tech or design background. [I'm] just a guy that downloaded Photoshop one day".

Now he's making headlines and the very celebs he Photoshops are sharing his pictures on their social media accounts.

"The response has been overwhelmingly positive. Everybody seems to get a kick out if it. I've been able to work with some big artists because of it."
