Wild storms have wreaked havoc across parts of Sydney, with fallen trees blocking roads and causing chaos as much of the state battles wild winds and heavy rainfall. , Residents in NSW made 57 calls for assistance to the SES on Monday, mostly due to trees falling onto power lines, roads and houses. Emergency services were called to Ocean Ave in Double Bay shortly after midnight on Tuesday morning after reports a tree had fallen across the road during the wild storms.
