A disgruntled Aussie TikTok user has shared the heated details of a bin war with their neighbour.
They allege that their neighbour keeps bringing their bins in from the kerb, an act they seem to adamantly oppose.
“She keeps pulling our bins in every day, and we don’t like taking them in, because we’re all f***ing autistic and ADHD, so we’ll just forget,” the user claimed.
However, the neighbour has now left a message on a poster stuck to the bin.
“Bring your bins in from the kerb as soon as possible after they have been emptied,” a highlighted section of a bin guideline reads.
The owner of the bins in question has blown up on TikTok, claiming that leaving the bins out isn’t illegal.
“Mind you that’s not a f***ing law,” they erupted.
In response to the neighbour’s act, the user has printed out a fresh sign to put on their bin. “Why do you care? LOL. get real problems lady. this is embarrassing for you,” it reads.
“This is such a non-issue,” the user voices over, before pasting both signs on their bin.
Going a step further, the user stacks their bins into a pyramid on the kerb.
“Am I losing it? I don’t give a f*** … Is this kind of funny? Just a little bit,” they finish.
Appealing to fellow TikTok users, one of the captions on the video states:
“Any suggestions in the comments of what to do if they continue being annoying would be greatly appreciated.”
However, the comments were not favourable to the bin owner.
“Not everything is a symptom of a psychiatric condition. sometimes you just need to grow the eff up,” one commented.
“You’re out of touch here. You don’t own the nature strip and it causes accessibility issues as well as being an eyesore. Bring your bins in,” another seconded.
However, some have chimed in to offer their support.
“I love fighting petty with petty.”
“Sometimes I leave my bins out until the bin day next week. I hope it annoys my neighbours,” another added.
The user has since posted a second video addressing the negative feedback.
“I love that people are sounding off in the comments … Go ahead, argue with each other … I don’t care,” they said.
