Sam Bradford has been released by the Arizona Cardinals
DESPITE continually being signed to monster contracts, Sam Bradford has never lived up to the hype. But it’s not all bad.

SAM Bradford isn’t a household name, despite earning a staggering amount throughout his career as an NFL quarterback.
The journey has played for four teams during his eight years in the NFL and has done incredibly well for himself. Despite never being a genuine star of the position.
Bradford on Sunday morning was released by the Arizona Cardinals after only arriving in Arizona prior to the 2018/19 season.
He started in the first three games of the season for the Cardinals, but after throwing more interceptions than touchdowns (four to two) he was relegated to the bench and lost his role to rookie QB Josh Rosen.
Despite being released by the Cardinals, Bradford won’t be short of cash after racking up a staggering $176 million (AUD) in earnings.
He’ll now be placed on waivers and will be eligible to be picked up by other NFL teams, however he still comes with a hefty price tag.
If any team is to claim him off waivers, they’ll be slugged with his base salary, roster bonuses and his 2019 salary … all of which adds up to $34 million.
I have Sam Bradfordâs career earnings through today at $127,500,000. Thatâs for 83 games with 103 touchdowns & 61 interceptions. His teams went 34-48-1 in those games. pic.twitter.com/08utNrinUz

Cardinals wound up paying QB Sam Bradford a $10 million signing bonus, about $2.5 million in base salary and another $1 million in playtime bonuses - a total of $13.5 million for playing three games.

The figures are made even more remarkable when you consider that since 2010, Bradford sits behind only Payton Manning and Aaron Rodgers in money made from QB’s to have played at least 30 games.
Of his 83 games in the NFL the 30-year-old play-caller has earned $2.1 million per game and around $1.7 million per touchdown. Or even better, he’s made just under $95,000 per completed pass.
The concept of Sam Bradford making mega-millions to do literally nothing has grown dangerously tiresome.

Despite the less than impressive record throughout his career, Bradford still holds weight in the quarterback market.
With turbulent situations going on in New York and Jacksonville, the money man could find a new home if he’s claimed off waivers.
Will former Vikings OC Pat Shurmur claim former Vikings QB Sam Bradford and make him the starter in New York?

IMO a possible landing spot for Sam Bradford would be Jacksonville, or weighing his options see what opens up in the next couple of weeks.
