THE 2016 Tour Down Under wraps up with 20 laps of a 4.5km circuit through Adelaide city streets, culminating in the crowning of the winning rider.

Even if the overall victor seems decided going into the 90km stage, there will be plenty of interest in the battle for the Subaru King of the Mountain and iiNet Sprint titles.

Riders will head off from King William Rd, near Festival Drive at 1.30pm on a stage expected to take two hours.

The circuit will take them to War Memorial Drive, then up Montefiore Hill to Pennington Tce, North Adelaide, and back down King William Rd.

Sprints will be held on laps eight and 12 on King William Rd, with mountain climbs on laps 10 and 15.

There also is traditionally an exciting bunch sprint at the stage’s end.

Other highlights will include the Bupa Mini Tour for Kids and family fun day at Elder Park from 8am to 3pm.
