THOUSANDS of Melburnians donning bright spring colours will soon flock to Flemington Racecourse across the four days of the Melbourne Cup Carnival. Here’s how to join them.

Can you buy a ticket on arrival?

The Melbourne Cup Carnival is a fully ticketed event. That means you must have a ticket before showing up the racecourse and can’t buy a ticket at the entrance.

Tickets do sell out, particularly on Melbourne Cup Day, so if you do plan on attending it’s important to book soon.
