IT took Kiwi star Terror To Love nine starts to break his Aussie maiden status, but punters think he’ll make it two on end in Saturday night’s $100,000 Group 1 Ballarat Pacing Cup (2710m).

The three-time NZ Cup winner has been heavily-backed with TAB to upset the dominance of local trainer Emma Stewart, who has four of the 10 runners — Guaranteed ($2.20), Philadelphia Man ($3.60), Restrepo ($8) and Beauty Secret ($5).

“The $3 for Terror To Love won’t last for long. More than 60 per cent of what we’re holding on the race has been for the Kiwi,” TAB’s Adam Hamilton said.

“Terror To Love was backed off the boards from $4.60 into $2.70 fixed odds when he beat Christen Me in the Cranbourne Cup last week and punters think he can do it again at Ballarat.”

The Ballarat Cup could reshape TAB’s Sydney Inter Dominion market where Beautide is $4.20 favourite, but horses like Guaranteed ($5.50 for the Inter Dominion), Terror To Love ($7), Restrepo ($11) and Philadelphia Man ($12) all lining-up at Ballarat.
