SuperCoach Racing 2021: Three must have horses for Round One

With just days until round one of the SuperCoach Racing season begins, Jett Hatton reveals three horses that you need to pick.

With round one of the SuperCoach Racing season set to kick off this week, I’m handing out three horses that must go in your stable.

RIODINI ($275,000)
Trainer: Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott. Career: 15:4-4-2
Race: Epsom Handicap (G1)

The stable is flying and Riodini looks the one to beat in Saturday’s Epsom Handicap off the back of two near misses at weight-for-age. It took Verry Elleegant to run him down last time out, and he drops a massive 7.5kg on that effort. He’ll be my captain this week.

SHE’S IDEEL ($375,000)

Trainer: Bjorn Baker. Career: 23:6-6-5

Race: The Metropolitan (G1)

I just think this mare has a class edge on this field. She won the Kingston Town Classic in good fashion and is even better over 2400m, with a placing to Sir Dragonet at weight-for-age during the autumn in the Tancred Stakes. She’s Ideel will be hard to beat on her way to a Cups campaign.

Trainer: Peter Moody. Career: 9:6-0-0

Race: Turnbull Stakes (G1)
Incentivise picks himself at the cheap price. He’s the one to beat in Saturday’s Group 1 Turnbull Stakes at Flemington and you only have to part with $200,000 to have him on board.
