BEST BET
DEMANDO (Race 5 No.3 – $4.20)
Chased home the smart Rapid Achiever at Sandown last time out. She’s hard fit and should go close to winning this.
NEXT BEST
ALL STARDOM (Race 3 No.1 – $3.50)
All Stardom ran on hard but just missed on this track second-up following a strong fresh win. He loves this trip and will be charging late.
OH SO FAR (Race 6 No.5 – $3.20)
Scored easily on this track third-up and trainer Mick Kent knows how to keep a stayer racing consistently. Expecting her to be too good again.
HEALING GAME (Race 8 No.3 – $5)
Impressed when breaking her maiden on the Lakeside track last time. The runner-up has scored impressively since so the form is good enough for this.
VALUE BET
JENNI ESPRIT (Race 4 No.7 – $8)
Jenni Esprit got the money in testing conditions at Sale last time out. She’s on trial at 1400m but is a talented mare that should handle the trip.
THE JOCKEY
MARK ZAHRA
Mark Zahra claimed last Saturday’s Blue Diamond Stakes so will head to Sandown full of confidence on Wednesday. GALEKA (Race 2 No.4 – $26), BRONZBA (Race 5 No.5 – $12), ALWAYS ON MY MIND (Race 8 No.12 – $4.20).
