The return to training of former top trainer Peter Moody is almost complete after the Pakenham Racing Club committee approved his application to train from the track.
PRC chief executive Blair Odgers said the PRC committee ratified this subject to Racing Victoria stewards approving Moody’s application to return to training after almost four years out of the game.

“We’re just sitting and waiting for him,” Odgers said.
“We’re very excited about a trainer of his calibre being here and I spoke to Peter last week and he’s very enthusiastic about his return to training.”
It is believed Moody wants to train a team of about 40 horses at Pakenham.
Odgers said he was not certain which stables Moody would operate from at the course.
Racing Victoria has received Moody’s application and it will be considered by its licensing panel in due course.
After that Racing Victoria’s board will then approve or disapprove the application.
Moody won’t know the outcome until the end of the month.
