ONE lucky punter would have been revelling in the Boom times on Saturday night after snaring the Caulfield Cup First Four dividend of $145,853 for a $24 outlay.
The NSW punter nailed the First Four by boxing Johannes Vermeer, Single Gaze, Lord Fandango and, of course, the winning outsider Boom Time for 100 per cent dividend.
For the record, Boom Time ($41) scored by 1¼ lengths from Single Gaze ($31) with the $5 favourite Johannes Vermeer a head away third to provide trainer David Hayes with his third Caulfield Cup and first in partnership with son Ben and nephew Tom Dabernig.
