Linda Meech has a suspected broken collarbone after falling at Geelong.

Victoria’s most prolific jockey was thrown forward over the neck of her mount La Lova in the final race at Geelong on Wednesday.

La Lova had taken barely two strides out of the gates before Meech was speared forward.

A spokesman said Meech would undergo scans.

Meech has been booked for 19 mounts over the Easter weekend.

Jumps jockey Braidon Small remains in the Alfred Hospital after undergoing head surgery on Monday. Small fell at Pakenham on Sunday.
