SuperCoach late mail: Robbie Young posts dismal score, Clayton Oliver produces SuperCoach shocker, Josh Kelly stars
Those who traded in Robbie Young a week early - look away now. The mature-age Saint has posted a dismal score in his second game, leaving more than 40,000 SuperCoaches in the lurch. EVERY SCORE

More than 40,000 SuperCoaches broke one of the SuperCoach commandments.
Our SuperCoach forefathers told us never to trade in a rookie before his second game, but many of us did it anyway, downgrading to Saints rookie Robbie Young after his promising 69-point display on debut.
He failed to hit a quarter of that that mark against the Blues, finishing with just five disposals and 17 SuperCoach points.
Many were forced to field the mature-ager for Cats superstar Patrick Dangerfield, making SuperCoaches wonder if they were better off just copping a donut.
To make matters worse, the small forward is a chance to be dropped ahead of their Round 11 clash with the Power in China before a single price rise.

DE BOER STRIKES AGAIN
Serial SuperCoach villain Matt de Boer has another victim to his name.
The Giants tagger successfully blanketed in-form Demon Clayton Oliver, keeping him to 17 touches and 53 SuperCoach points - his lowest score since Round 13, 2016.
Oliver was severely impacted by the super stopper, going at just 47 per cent disposal efficiency and tallying six clangers in his side’s loss.
On a disappointing day for the Dees, cash cow Marty Hore was the shining light, posting his maiden SuperCoach ton.
Star Stephen Coniglio was one of the few Giants who also failed to fire in his return game.
Meanwhile, SuperCoach guns Josh Kelly, Tim Taranto and Lachie Whitfield were prolific.
I would be looking closely at GWS's remaining games before trading any midfielder in. De Boer is a human clamp. #SuperCoach #AFLFantasy

CONSTABLE FRUSTRATION CONTINUES
Geelong youngster Charlie Constable is one of the unluckiest players in the competition.
After being dumped for the Cats’ clash with the Suns, the young midfielder returned in the VFL and suffered a game-ending leg injury.
Constable collected just three disposals before taking no further part after half time.
It makes a return to the side in the near future increasingly unlikely, especially after his replacement Tom Atkins starred on the Gold Coast.
Constable has been a late inclusion last two games for Joel Selwood and Tom Atkins, posting scores of 92 and 61.
He collected just 11 disposals and booted a goal last week against the Bulldogs, spending more time up forward, with fellow rookie Tom Atkins (hip) back to replace him.

SYDNEY v COLLINGWOOD
Hero: If you had the captain or vice-captain tag on Brodie Grundy, you can rest easy this weekend. The big fella has delivered. And boy, did he deliver! Grundy was an absolute weapon on Friday night, dominating the Sydney rucks on his way to a whopping score of 165. For all the talk about his big price tag in the pre-season, he continues to come up trumps.
Villain: It was a tough night at the office for Steele Sidebottom, as the Magpie midfielders continue to take turns when it comes to posting big numbers. Sidebottom wasn’t seen much in the first half and despite getting into the game more after the main break, finished with just 54 points.

Hero: Xavier Duursma has been a popular trade out option in recent weeks as coaches looked to cash in on the Power rookie’s price rise. Duursma was only rated a 16 per cent chance of reaching his break even of 76 but romped it in, finishing with 108 in a losing side to keep 110,000 coaches happy in what shaped as a tough SuperCoach week. Jack Gunston is in less than 3000 teams and looms as the POD of the weekend after he was the dominant player on the ground with 144.
Villain: Maybe we should have seen a Tom Rockliff injury coming. Rockliff hurt his hamstring during the third quarter and it was only scaling which allowed him to end up above 70. With a break even of 55, Rockliff will still gain money this week but there’s a decent chance he’s ruled out until after the Power’s Round 12 bye. Travis Boak also scored under 80 with 77 and might be available for under $500,000 after Round 12. Keep a watch on Robbie Gray who scored 89. He might be one of the buys of the year at under $400,000.

WESTERN BULLDOGS V NORTH MELBOURNE
Heroes: Roos Ruckman Todd Goldstein monstered Tim English in the centre square battle, recording the best score on the ground with 140. Shaun Higgins bounced back from being tagged out of last week’s loss to Sydney with 108. Josh Dunkley continued his resurgence with 130 as the Bulldogs top scorer, while those still holding Tom Liberatore would have been buoyed when he posted his first hundred since Round 4 with 110.
Villain: What has happened to Toby McLean as a SuperCoach option? He averaged 94.7 last year and although his midfield time was taken by Josh Dunkley in the latter rounds, still finished the season as one of the best forward picks. He’s only scored one hundred this year and after 61 against the Roos on Saturday is going to dip further below $400,000, having started the year at $514,000.

ADELAIDE V WEST COAST
Heroes: Rory Sloane has been in superb form in the past month, continuing his hot streak with 140 against the Eagles. Cam Ellis-Yolmen was the other midfield star for the Crows, racking up 134. Luke Shuey was influential in the second half and reached 136, while Elliot Yeo had 15 tackles which lifted his score to 115. Jack Redden (113) matched that tackle figure, while Shannon Hurn (112), Dom Sheed (112), Andrew Gaff (106) and Jack Darling (104) were the other West Coast players above 100.
Villains: The time might have come to look for ways to upgrade Brodie Smith after his score of 65. Jack Petruccelle is another in the gun after he had 25 at quarter-time but only scrapped his way to a final score of 37. Reilly O’Brien left plenty wondering why they traded him with a total of 91, but many coaches had little choice due to the number of popular players missing.

GOLD COAST V GEELONG
Late mail: No late changes
Heroes: It’s hard to see how Tim Kelly doesn’t finish the year as the No. 1 ranked SuperCoach forward. Travis Boak set the pace in the opening months, but Kelly has roared into Brownlow Medal contention and is amassing huge SuperCoach numbers. His 140 against the Suns was his seventh hundred in 10 rounds and fourth score above 120. Mitch Duncan (123) continued his brilliant form, while Tom Hawkins (122) presents a unique forward option. Those who held Tom Atkins through his week off with a corkie were rewarded as greater midfield time resulted in a score of 115 for the popular starting rookie.
Villains: This might be the round that the bubble bursts for the pick of the starting forward rookies — Gryan Miers. Miers had a break even of 82 coming into this match and a score of 34 will likely mean he loses money from here until Geelong’s Round 13 bye. Start thinking about how you can move him on as he’s performed his role as a cash cow to perfection.

Late mail: No late changes
Heroes: Bachar Houli can’t stop scoring hundreds. The silky-skilled left-footer was a class above in the wet against Essendon, tallying his fifth century in seven games and second score of 142 this year. Four other Tigers reached triple figures — Shane Edwards, Dion Prestia, Nick Vlastuin and Liam Baker. Baker was traded out by more than 1000 coaches this round who will be regretting their call after the wet conditions at the MCG suited the tough-tackling small forward. Darcy Parish (137) was superb for Essendon and Tom Bellchambers (124) made the most of his two inexperienced ruck opponents.
Villains: Injuries to Jake Stringer (55) and Dylan Shiel (68) cost them bigger scores and if you’ve got either Bomber in your side you need to make trade plans after they sustained hamstring blows.

Late mail: Christian Salem (concussion) replaced by Charlie Spargo
Heroes: It has been a fruitful debut season for mature-age recruit Marty Hore and despite a dismal day for the Dees, he raised the bat for his maiden SuperCoach ton. The interceptor scored more than 70 points in the first half alone on his way to a whopping 116 point total. Ruck behemoth Max Gawn (149) carried his side with a team-high 25 touches and 35 hit-outs, while on the other side of the ledger a host of Giants starred. Josh Kelly (148), Tim Taranto (132) and Lachie Whitfield (115) backed up their monster scores last week with dominant performances against the Dees.
Villains: Matt de Boer added another notch to his belt keeping Clayton Oliver (53) to just 17 disposals. The clearance king went at an inefficient 47 per cent, with six clangers keeping him to a paltry score. Shane Mumford (61) had a dirty day at the office, while Stephen Coniglio (76) produced a disappointing effort in his return game. Jay Lockhart (32) didn’t do those who fielded him any favours.

Heroes: While it wasn’t a monster score, Patrick Cripps (116) battled gallantly through a Jack Steele tag, responding well after being blanketed against the Giants. Popular cash cow Sam Walsh (93) punched out 59 points in the second half to produce a fruitful score, while Jade Gresham (114) starred for the Saints. Underperforming rookie Matt Parker (75) to hit a reasonable score after two down games.
Villains: Those who downgraded to Robbie Young a week early – look away now. The Saints forward shone on debut but failed to replicate it against the Blues, tallying a meagre five disposals and 17 SuperCoach points. He is every chance to get dropped ahead of his third game, leaving 23 per cent of SuperCoaches high and dry without a single price rise.

Heroes: All he had to do was score and Michael Walters (110) rammed it into the woodwork after the siren to bring home the win and a fruitful SuperCoach total. Usual suspects Luke Ryan (131) and Nat Fyfe (126) finished with dominant scores for the home side, with the former staking his claim as a top five defender. Noah Answerth (64) lifted late to produce a solid score for those who fielded him.
Villains: We thought Lachie Neale (79) would be at his very best up against his former side but the SuperCoach stud posted his lowest score for the season, letting down those who put him captain. His price is set to plummet in the coming weeks, with an upgrade after his bye in Round 13 looming as a popular move for those without the gun.
