It was not the usual media interview after an Australian win, but Joe Tomane is not your usual Wallaby.
In just his second Test, Tomane showed that he is capable of filling the boots of France-bound Digby Ioane and keeping Australia's rugby union public thoroughly entertained in between games.
How was Tomane feeling as Leigh Halfpenny lined up his penalty attempt in Melbourne after the fulltime siren to potentially win the series for the British and Irish Lions?
"I was scared, I was about to cry," Tomane revealed.
"Because it was in his range, he's missed two or three kicks this whole tour, he's a clutch kicker and I just thought, 'Oh shucks'.
"I thought it would (go over), but thank God he missed, and made it more interesting."
After making his debut against Scotland last year, the 23-year-old father of one has fought back from injury to reward the faith of Wallabies coach Robbie Deans - a long-time fan.
A former Melbourne and Gold Coast NRL player, Tomane's robust ball-carries and scything pace down the left touchline was an important feature of Australia's 16-15 win, which again revealed their resilience under fire.
"Everyone in the team has a lot of fight, we were never going to give up," Tomane said.
"Everyone in the squad just has that mentality that the game isn't over until the fat lady sings.
"It's worked for us, a lot of games we've won on the final bell.
"Hopefully we can start winning games a lot more comfortably, instead of waiting 75 minutes to score the first try."
Tomane also had some career advice for Lions winger George North, who carried rival Israel Folau on his shoulder during a memorable second-half run.
"He should go to WWE, he'd make a million bucks a year to wrestle people," Tomane said.
"That was freakish, I've never seen a big winger lift a big winger before, hopefully he doesn't do it next week, because we need 'Izzy'.
"It was amazing, the strength that he has. And he's only 21, imagine when he's 24, 25, when he's my age.
"Man, he'll be unstoppable."
