HURTING after their loss to the Rebels last week, the Waratahs have a chance to bounce back and "make a name for ourselves" by beating the Crusaders in Christchurch tomorrow night.

That's the view of NSW coach Michael Cheika, who yesterday made six changes to the Tahs side which fell to Melbourne.

With Wycliff Palu (knee) out, Dave Dennis moves to No.8 and Pat McCutcheon will play blindside flanker.

Berrick Barnes moves back on to the bench for Rob Horne to start at No.12, and Cam Crawford returns from injury on the wing at Drew Mitchell's expense.

"It is an ideal match for us, because I felt last week we had a step down in our attitude and our edge, compared to the weeks before that," Cheika said.

"And this is a perfect game for us to bounce back and test our attitude, and try to go over there and make a name for ourselves by taking a big scalp."
