WALLABIES and Brumbies centre Tevita Kuridani has committed his immediate future to Australian rugby, signing a new two-year deal with the ARU.
The 23-year-old’s signature is a massive boost for Australian rugby after a spate of recent losses to overseas competitions.
Kuridrani said he was delighted to re-sign with the ARU.
“I am very happy to continue to playing my rugby in Australia. The Brumbies have been very supportive and I am passionate about playing for the Wallabies.
“Super Rugby is the best place for me to continue to improve and challenge myself to become the best rugby player I can be,”
“It was a very enjoyable experience under Michael Chieka on the recent Spring Tour, and there is a lot of competition for spots in the Wallabies team, especially in the backline.
“I will continue to work hard with my Brumbies teammates to ensure that I can wear the gold jumper again this season and at the Rugby World Cup.”
At just 23 years of age, Kuridani has already played 20 Tests for the Wallabies since his debut in 2013, scoring four tries.
