THE Wallabies have suffered another blow, with Brumbies lock Rory Arnold ruled out of Australia’s first Test of the year against Ireland next month due to suspension.
Arnold copped a three week ban for a dangerous tackle on Lions five-eighth Elton Jantjies during the Brumbies’ 42-24 Super Rugby loss in Johannesburg on Sunday.
Arnold pleaded guilty to the offence and will also miss the Brumbies’ clash with the Bulls in Pretoria on Saturday and the following weekend’s hosting of the Sunwolves in Canberra.

WHAT HOODOO?: Waratahs talking tough
His absence leaves Wallabies coach Michael Cheika short another big forward for the first of three Tests against the Six Nations champions in Brisbane on June 9.
Waratahs forward Ned Hanigan — who played 12 Tests as a blindside flanker in 2017 — is already sidelined for up to six weeks with a knee injury.
