Just when it seemed Jess Fox couldn’t be any more perfect, the Aussie Olympic legend comes out and drops this.

The 30-year-old paddler emerged from her golden Paris Olympics campaign as one of Australia’s most popular athletes — and she has continued to delight fans away from the white water with a series of projects over he past nine months.

The three-time Olympic gold medal-winner has now launched one of her boldest adventures as the face for Bonds’ new line of comfy undies.

Fox last year moved into a new phase of her career when she took on the catwalk as a poster girl for L’Oreal Paris — but the campaign launched with Bonds this week is her biggest commercial project yet.

Jess Fox stuns in new advertising campaign

Posing in nothing but her underwear, Fox has admitted her recent photo-shoot with Bonds was “daunting” — but also hopes her look will inspire others to feel comfortable in their own skin.

Photos from a Bonds’ Bloody Comfy Period Undies photo-shoot were shared on Fox’s Instagram page on Monday with some followers calling it the “best advertising ever”.

“Every period deserves to be bloody comfy, which is why I’ve joined forces with@BondsAUS for their Bloody Comfy Period Undies campaign,” she wrote.

“It’s time for us all to reclaim the word period and just call it what it is. Because your period shouldn’t hold you back from living your best life. Wear what makes you feel unstoppable.”

The French-born athlete also shared a video from behind the scenes at her photo-shoot, writing: “Let’s be honest, it’s about time we stopped using ridiculous names and called it what it is... a period!

“Not being afraid to talk about it, adapting my training and understanding my menstrual cycle is important for me to keep bringing my best! Which is why I’m honoured to be part of @bondsAUS Bloody Comfy Period Undies campaign to do just that.”

She told The Daily Telegraph the shoot took her out of her comfort zone.

“I was super excited to be partnering with Bonds because it’s … a brand I grew up wearing,” she said.

“Initially it probably wasn’t something I was jumping out of my skin to do, but it’s one that I sort of thought, you know, that this is going challenge me out of my comfort zone and it has such a great empowering message behind it.

“It’s about changing the narrative and making women feel empowered and confident, regardless of whether you have your period. I sort of see it as my responsibility. It is so important to talk about periods and normalise the conversation.”

While her public profile has grown, Fox has largely kept her private life away from the world.

She has told the publication she is dating again

Fox quietly split up with her boyfriend Mathieu Biazizzo 12 months ago before the Paris Games.

The split was a surprise to many after she had previously spoken about being open to becoming a mum with Biazizzo in coming years.

Fox has been incredibly busy since her Paris success — where she became most successful Australian Olympian of all time in individual events after winning a sixth medal with her canoe slalom gold.

It was one of many records she picked up in Paris.

Her canoe slalom gold saw her become the most successful Olympic paddler of all time.

She has a career total of three Olympic golds, a silver and two bronze medals.

She was an incredibly popular choice to carry the Aussie flag during the 2024 Olympic opening ceremony.

The Fox sisters were the best story of the Paris Games, with Jess adding another two gold medals to her tally before she jumped in the water when Noemie won the newly added kayak cross event.

Aussie fans will be hoping to see much more of the Fox before the Los Angeles Games in 2028.
