The Olyroos’ return to the Olympics for the first time since 2008 headlines a day of action at the Tokyo Olympics on Thursday, June 22.
After the Matildas made a winning start to their Tokyo campaign with a 2-1 win over New Zealand on Wednesday night, the men’s team kicks off with a tough Group C match against Argentina.
Here is the full schedule for Preliminary Day 2 - all times are AEST.
Schedule for men’s football
Australia vs Argentina from 8.30pm at Sapporo Dome.
Other matches beginning from 5.30pm are: Egypt vs Spain, New Zealand vs Republic of South Korea, Mexico vs France, Ivory Coast vs Saudi Arabia, Honduras vs Romania, Japan vs South Africa and Brazil vs Germany
Schedule for baseball
Australia vs Italy from 4pm at Fukushima Baseball Stadium.
The matches scheduled earlier on Thursday from 10am are: United States vs Canada and Mexico vs Japan.
Training schedule for shooting
Shooting has an official day of training beginning from 10am with the 10m air pistol men’s event./
