The day started well for Australia with medal chance Jess Hull cruising into the semi-finals of the women’s 1500m and turned absolutely golden when Arisa Trew saluted in the skateboard park event.

Unfortunately it was a contrasting story for our Boomers.

Australia has now moved into outright third position on the medal tally with 14 golds.
