As Australia’s golden girls stood on the dais collecting another medal, a male commentator made a barely-believable comment.

It was a golden day for Australia in Paris as Emma McKeon won her sixth gold in the women’s 4x100m freestyle relay - beating the record she shared with Ian Thorpe.

Ariarne Titmus also saluted in the 400m freestyle, after Grace Brown grabbed gold in the cycling time trial.

Australia’s women were on fire, but one moment was ruined by a sexist comment from a male commentator.
