Melbourne five-eighth Cameron Munster believes the super successful Storm can go to another level and won’t let their Albury expedition crush an NRL premiership tilt.
Munster drove back to Melbourne last week after spending the NRL season shutdown in Queensland, a stay which included a once-in-a-lifetime round of golf with Masters champion Adam Scott.
While Munster didn’t use the Noosa Springs round to pick the brain of the world No.6, he returned to Victoria in top shape determined to continue the Storm’s winning start to 2020.

“I got the chance to play golf with Adam Scott. My manager (Shaun Pyne) went to school with one of his good mates,” Munster said.
“We didn’t really talk about rugby league or golf too much. I was just asking him how he’s going during isolation with his family.
“I’m sure he gets sick of people asking him about golf. When I talk to people everyone asks me how’s footy going but there’s more to life than footy.
“We spoke about other things. It was really good to get a different insight.
“It showed what kind of person he is. He’s a knockabout lad and typical Aussie.
“He was a good guy to talk to and was happy to have a beer after it which was pleasing. He was a normal bloke and not like one of those snobby golfers.
“I was a bit star struck. He shot seven-under and I was 10-over (82). I went terrible for the first two holes. I was rattled.
“He hit a five-iron 220m and I hit the driver and was still short of him and out in the trees.”

After the NRL season was suspended in late March, Munster and his partner made a mad dash from Melbourne to cross the Queensland border just hours before it was closed to non-essential travellers.
The Maroons Origin star spent a month in south-east Queensland and his hometown of Rockhampton before returning to Melbourne last week in preparation for the Storm's relocation to Albury.
Munster recorded a personal best in fitness tests on Wednesday and said he was determined to help the Storm clinch this year’s premiership after their 2-0 start to the season.

“I think we can go up to another level,” he said.
“I feel like we were still clunky in games in round one and two. We can play better footy.
“I’ve been in prelim finals from 2015 (and only won one premiership) so it’d be nice to follow through and get a premiership ring this year or next year.
“A lot of people will be talking about the adversity this year and seeing who comes through the other side. That’s something we’ve been really motivated about.
“I really want to win a competition … and more after this year.
“People will put a question mark on me – will Cameron Munster be able to win a competition without the big three (Cameron Smith, Billy Slater and Cooper Cronk) around? That really drives me to make sure I can do something like that."
The Storm have based themselves in the NSW town of Albury after being prohibited from training in Victoria.
