A man who allegedly received a stolen NRLW premiership ring had been charged after the prized possession was found in a Newcastle business.

NSW Police allege Boyle’s 2024 NRLW Premiership ring was among the items stolen during the incident.

Boyle made an impassioned plea on Instagram calling for anyone who might have seen her beloved ring to reach out.

“If you work in a pawn shop in Newy and someone comes in with a number 8 premiership ring to swap for cash please let me know because it’s probably not theirs and they came into my house at night and stole it,” Boyle wrote.

NSW Police later charged a 24-year-old man after officers allegedly found several items belonging to Boyle and her husband at a home in Hamilton South on October 16.

However, Boyle’s prized ring was still missing until police received information the ring had been spotted in a business in Newcastle.

Officers attended the business and recovered the ring before continuing inquiries into the incident on November 8.
