The Warriors have signed another son of a famous name with highly-promising Cronulla hooker Sam Healey inking a three-year deal with the New Zealand club.
The son of former Sharks legend Mitch Healey, the 21-year-old joins Jett Cleary, the son of Penrith coach Ivan Cleary, at the Warriors next year.
The highly-promising Healey has developed through the grades with the Sharks, establishing himself in the NSW Cup with 36 games for feeder club Newtown since last season.
“Sam is a really promising young dummy half and a player we’ve identified as someone with tremendous upside,” Warriors recruitment boss Andrew McFadden said.
Healey will work as the understudy to NRL hooker Wayde Egan at the Warriors.
