As Penrith continue to celebrate back-to-back NRL premierships, rival clubs are preparing to fight it out in a free agency frenzy in a bid to peg back the champions.

Around 200 players are set to flood onto the open market for the 2024 season, when rugby league’s financial year ticks over on November 1.

Among the list of players available to sign are 13 Origin representatives from 2022, 15 grand finalists, scores of international players and a host of established and rising stars.

Although Parramatta are set to announce the re-signing of forward Shaun Lane to stave off poachers, North Queensland Cowboys star Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow is expected to seal an immediate move to the Dolphins.
