2024 has seen a fall-off in quality for a number of high-profile NRL players, with certain stars of yesteryear experiencing their least productive season yet. We reveal the worst performers at each team this year.

For some, they’ve had the highs of winning a premiership, lifting the State of Origin shield, and even wearing the Dally M medal – twice.

And now they’re going through the least productive season of their careers.

But for others, they’ve gone from relative anonymity, maybe even high school, to having the world at their feet.

And a pay cheque to match.

Jack Cogger to many was one of the saviours of Penrith’s 2023 grand final win, but hasn’t been able to stay on the field longer than four weeks this year for Newcastle.

Lachlan Galvin was a school kid less than 12-months-ago, now he’s the key plank in the Wests Tigers’ rebuild.

Rookie Dolphins lock and hooker Max Plath has absorbed everything thrown his way this year, setting himself up for a long and illustrious career.
