Who starred and who flopped?

Coach Des Hasler tried his best to play down the performance of his players but the Sea Eagles were simply scintillating as they soared past the Roosters in a lopsided finals clash.

Now Manly find themselves 80 minutes away from a first grand final appearance since 2013 after a dominant win over Trent Robinson’s injury-ravaged side.

Led from the front by superstar fullback Tom Trbojevic, the Sea Eagles were ably supported by the likes of skipper Daly Cherry-Evans, utility Dylan Walker and unheralded prop Sean Keppie.

While Trbojevic took bragging rights on the night, it wasn’t for lack of effort on the part of his opposite number James Tedesco.

The Roosters skipper and star fullback never stopped as he willed his side – who have endured one of the toughest seasons on the injury front in rugby league history – to try and keep up with the red-hot Sea Eagles.

Likewise pack leader Jared Waerea-Hargreaves – who topped the run metres for all forwards on the park despite his side being second best for most of the night.
