While the NRL regular season is still a week away from kicking off, Fox Sports Lab has provided all the KFC SuperCoach scores from the Charity Shield clash between South Sydney and St George Illawarra — and there were some surprises.
While all eyes were on Latrell Mitchell, who scored a respectable 45 in his 40-minute stint at fullback, two unheralded forwards were the surprise KFC SuperCoach standouts in Mudgee.
New Rabbitohs recruit Patrick Mago led allcomers as he tallied 80 points in his cameo off the bench.

The former Bronco scored a try, made a linebreak, busted five tackles, threw three offloads and produced one try assist and two linebreak assists as he sparked South Sydney in the second half.
Unfortunately for the new Rabbitoh, he will miss the next 12 weeks after tearing his pectoral muscle.
Fellow interchange forward Keaon Koloamatangi was the next best, racking up 67 points in a performance that included one linebreak, two tackle busts and an offload.
For the Dragons, Paul Vaughan was the best with 66 points that came through 12 runs, two tackles busts and 25 tackles.
