Reality has hit for loved up couple Nathan Cleary and Mary Fowler with the pair going public with photos from their European holiday together.
The adored couple have returned to their regular lives after a romantic getaway that had fans feeling all warm and fuzzy as the couple frolicked across Europe.
Like most people returning to their day jobs after time away, the couple showed how much they are missing the holiday buzz by going through the cathartic exercise of flicking through photos from their adventures.
Intimate photos shared by the Manchester City ace told fans all they need to know about their fairy tale romance — more than 12 months after the couple began seeing each other.
The sporting power couple’s latest photo drop shows them in the UK together where they attended the Super League Grand Final in Manchester — where the Matildas superstar plays her club football in the Women’s Super League.
After Cleary’s starring performance in the Panthers’ 2024 NRL Grand Final victory the 26-year-old halfback was given permission to delay shoulder surgery in order to spend time away with Fowler, 21, overseas.
He and Fowler have made good use of the little time available.
The couple on Tuesday shared photos that showed them hiking the Swiss Alps and relaxing on beaches in Europe.
Fowler’s latest post also showed the couple layered up together in warm coats at a seaside location. A video also showed the couple out in nature hiking up a mountain at a secluded location.
Another delightfully dorky photo showed the pair getting creative with some paint brushes together. Cleary was left looking mortified by his unique interpretation of Fowler as the pair painted pictures of each other.
“Aren’t you just so happy that you found an artistic boyfriend?,” Cleary responded adding paint palette emoji.
The gallery was captioned with a smiley face emoji.
She also responded to Cleary, writing: “Mems (memories) for a lifetime”.
Spanish city Barcelona was also among the picturesque destinations the couple visited together.
The most eye-catching photos were shared last week with the couple capturing photos of each other during a beach retreat.
The photos showed Cleary stripped down to shorts and Fowler rocking a casual orange bikini.
Earlier photos showed Cleary cheering Fowler on during her recent Matildas international
friendly matches against Switzerland and Germany.
Their dream run ended earlier this month when Cleary returned home to have shoulder surgery.
He has since been settling into the routine of doing recovery and rehabilitation sessions to strengthen the joint after he carried the injury for the end of the season.
Fowler has also been back at the grindstone with City — and on Wednesday morning helped her side to an impressive 2-0 Champions League win over Hammarby at Manchester City Stadium.
Luckily for the Panthers, the damaged joint held up in the premiership victory.
But it’s been suggested on both sides of the relationship that there could be a move to ease the long-distance burden on the couple.
Panthers boss Brian Fletcher even cheekily suggested the club needed to “bring Mary back” to Australia, likely in response to speculation Cleary was considering moving to the UK’s Super League.
However, Cleary poured cold water on that when he was interviewed at Wigan’s Super League grand final win over Hull KR.
“Not anytime soon, to be honest,” Cleary said.
“I see all the rumours. I get to come over here and see her (Fowler) play which is nice and to have a break, but I won’t be moving over here anytime soon.”
The couple went public with their relationship in April, but have since admitted they began seeing each other in November, 2023.
Cleary’s other focus will be his ongoing rehab program as he pushes to be fit in time for the Panthers’ season opener in Las Vegas in March.
