Rugby league appears to have a new glamour couple. Dolphins superstar Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow and Gold Coast flyer Jaime Chapman have gone public with their romance on social media, posting an image together on Friday afternoon.
A host of rugby league stars reacted to the news including NRLW royalty Lauren Brown, Jess Sergis, Tarryn Aiken, Mahalia Murphy, Kennedy Cherrington and Teagan Berry.
Tabuai-Fidow has become one of the game’s genuine superstars in recent years, forging a place in the Queensland and Australian sides.
Chapman is no slouch herself.
The Gold Coast back has scored three tries in five appearances for NSW over the past two years including a sensational solo effort in this year’s Origin series where she seized an intercept, brushed off a handful of players and raced the length of the field.
Chapman posted an image on Friday night of the smiling couple in an embrace accompanied by a heart emoji and a lock. Tabuai-Fidow was among those to reply, posting two love hearts.
They join a handful of NRL and NRLW players who have struck up relationships in recent years. Sergis is among them, having recently bought a unit for more than $1 million with her partner, Manly back Tommy Talau.

Channel 9 star Emma Lawrence has welcomed her first baby with Channel 9 senior producer partner Thomas Blucher-Hughes.
Lawrence shared the images of Harper Rose Hughes, born on November 28.
Lawrence continued to work for Channel 9 throughout the NRL final series and into the Pacific Championships before taking a well-deserved break.
Lawrence announced her pregnancy just before the opening State of Origin clash where she was front and centre of the network’s coverage.
“Mum and Dad could not be more in love,” Lawrence said. “Can’t wait to do life with you.”
