Nick Cotric has reportedly shunned an offer from the Raiders to link with the Bulldogs on a three-year deal worth an estimated $1.8 million.
After a long negotiation period the Bulldogs look to have finally landed their first major signing from a rival NRL club with their $3 million dollar war chest.
“Nick Cotric off to the Bulldogs from next year three-year deal,” Channel 7’s Michelle Bishop tweeted.

The Canberra Times reported the deal is believed to be worth $650,000 a season over three years starting in 2021.
The Raiders reportedly offered a five-year deal worth $2.5 million, which equates to $150,000 less per season, but with the added security of two more years.

The 21-year-old has scored 37 tries in 79 games in first grade since debuting for the Raiders in 2017.
He has played two Tests for the Kangaroos and one game for the NSW Blues last season.
Cotric is the second major signing for the struggling Bulldogs after they lured English back-rower Luke Thompson from St Helens.
Thompson was due to start in 2021, but decided to link with the club early due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Bulldogs have only just begun to sort out their salary cap, after they let go of seven internationals in a bid to balance their books after Des Hasler left the club to link back with Manly.
Cotric’s deal makes him one of the highest paid winger’s in the game next to Rabbitohs flyer Dane Gagai, who is on a reported $700,000 at South Sydney.
However like Gagai, Cotric sees himself as a centre and will most likely get a chance to play in his preferred position at Belmore.
The club have also been linked to Storm flyer and Cotric’s Origin and Test teammate Josh Addo-Carr, while they are looking at signing Kieran Foran to a reduced contract extension.
