Coach Anthony Seibold is running out of options with his underperforming Brisbane Broncos.

With the season all but gone, many believe now is the time to make crucial changes with overpaid and underperforming big names.

We are referring to Anthony Milford and Darius Boyd.

Both are giving absolutely nothing to this team at a time when the younger players are desperate for some real leadership.

It’s almost as if they don’t care. That their jumpers worn by so many legends over the years mean nothing.

We spoke to Seibold on Sunday about these two players. He is struggling to hold the sheds and refused to be critical of their individual performances. When it gets to a stage that fans are booing the team off the field, it’s time to take drastic action.

At least someone like Tom Dearden in the halves will have a crack.

I asked Seibold about a rumour he was prepared to negotiate a payout and return home to Sydney.

“There’s no chance I’ll walk,” Seibold said.

“I haven’t even thought about it. It’s challenging but the board’s supportive and we’re trying to play the long game.

“If they tap me on the shoulder … that’s the reality of sport. I understand if you keep losing on the scoreboard. I get there’s pressure.”
