A number of players have rocketed into All-Australia contention from nowhere. But, as MICK McGUANE writes, some have gone the other way – and it’s hurting their club.

Almost a third of the way through the 2025 AFL home-and-away season, some players have elevated themselves into All-Australian conversations while others have dropped off.

AFL analyst Mick McGuane has taken a look at every club and has picked out the players he believes deserve a big tick for their campaigns so far, as well as the players who need to lift their output.
