It’s Victoria’s largest netball competition and a hotbed for emerging talent to make their mark and go on to higher honours.
With the Netball Victoria State Titles taking over the courts of Frankston from March 8-10 – live streamed exclusively on KommunityTV and the Herald Sun – we’ve taken a look at the rising stars to keep an eye on.

With matches from all divisions set to feature on the live streams, these are the players you need to watch.
ISLA CUDDY
Barwon, 17&U
An up-and-coming goaler, Cuddy will represent the Barwon region for the first time after making her way through the ranks of the Bellarine FNL and Central West Association Championships.
The tall shooter as an ability to hold under pressure and is a calm presence in the goal circle going about her business effectively but with little fuss.
LENI HEPBURN
Barwon, 17&U
The speedy and agile Hepburn is one to watch in the midcourt.
The Geelong FNL talent is a triple threat with the ability to cover all three midcourt positions.
Hepburn possesses exceptional vision to supply her gaolers while defensively she closes down quickly and will throw herself into any contest.
MAYA CORRIGAN
Barwon, 15&U
A hard-working defender, Corrigan is a great athlete with high netball IQ and will be an asset to Barwon’s 15&U side at the titles.
Her ability to play on both smalls and talls will be valuable while she is also a strong leader on and off the court.
LILY SHERMAN
Barwon, 15&U
Speed and movement around the court at the hallmarks of Sherman’s game as she looks set to be a key player in the 15&U division.
Calm in close situations, she is an athletic and accurate goaler who possesses great timing and can play both attacking positions effectively.
HAYLEY JACKSON
Central Highlands, 15&U
A brilliant defender, Jackson uses her excellent court awareness to create intercepts and read the play.
The Ballarat product has a strong vertical jump and will be an asset for Central Highlands on high balls, while also standing out as a great, disciplined one-on-one defender.
LACEY BROAD
Central Highlands, 17&U
Hailing from Maryborough Castlemaine District FNL, Broad is a strong goal shooter with a high shooting accuracy.
The 17&U player has great ability to handle pressure and convert in crucial situations, which will be key for Central Highlands as they look to make a deep run at the titles.
AUDREY DOMAILLE
Central Highlands, 17&U
Region/Association: Ballarat Football Netball League
Position: WD/GD
Age Group: Under 17s
Audrey is strong defensively and demonstrates outstanding consistency. Audrey is a key player in disrupting opposition attacks and transitioning the ball into her teams attack.
FRANKIE OLD
Elmer, 15&U
Returning after an impressive 2024 campaign, Old is a goaler who thrives under pressure.
As a bottom-age player she started in the grand final and demonstrated composure, quick thinking, and tactical awareness.
With a year of experience under her belt, keep a close eye on Vultures Netball Club talent to make waves in Frankston.
AVERY LEASK
Elmer, 15&U
An agile and versatile defender, Leask is known for her quick footwork and exceptional ball-reading skills.
The St Therese’s Netball Club product is capable of swinging between defence and midcourt as she shuts down opposition attacks with ease.
Spent 2024 as a training partner and has now been named captain for the Elmer 15&U squad.
MILLIE SCOTT
Elmer, 17&U
Returning for her third State Titles appearance, Scott is a proven performer with experience in both the midcourt and circle defence.
She is co-captain of the 17&U side and previously won the 15&U title with Elmer in 2023.
Scott will bring versatility, work ethic, and leadership to the team as they aim for another deep run at this year’s State Titles.
DECLAN LAWTON
JIKA, 17&U Male
Lawton has the honour of captaining the inaugural Jika 17&U Male team as it makes its debut at the State Titles.
Damaging at both centre and goal attack, his movement on court and the ability to dispose of the ball correctly makes him unstoppable at times.
Lawton is set to bring leadership, experience and deep understand of the game to the tournament as JIKA looks to make a splash in the division.
SOPHIE ELMES & SARAH ELMES
JIKA, 17&U
Two sisters, both returning JIKA players from 2024 bring a unique dynamic to the JIKA 17&U team by playing at opposite ends of the court.
Sophie is a solid defender who uses her agility and sharp instincts to shut down attackers, while Satah shines in attack by constantly creating opportunities and scoring with precision.
Together the duo will be key to their side’s chances as standout talents on either end.
ZARA BRAZIER
JIKA, Open
Hailing from the Banyule & Districts NA, Brazier was initially selected as a training partner but has earnt elevation to the open team after displaying her dominant presence, strong leadership skills and unwavering determination.
The defender means business every time she steps onto the court with her skill, mindset, and influence making the under the radar talent one to watch.
ALICE SIALE
Sunraysia, 15&U
Siale is an all-round athlete who is adept at playing multiple positions including centre, goal defence and wing defence.
Also a talented basketballer, she will look to intercept and create opportunities for Sunraysia.
EMMA MOTTRAM
Sunraysia, 15&U
Young but tall for her age, Mottram represented State Schools Victoria in 12-and-under last year and is a rising talent from the Sunraysia region.
The shooter is a great target in the goal circle and is also mobile enough to play goal attack.
ISLA FRENCH
Sunraysia, 15&U
Look for French to use her athleticism to be damaging across the midcourt positions.
She possesses excellent change of pace, closing speed and is always hunting for an intercept.
WILLOW BRIDGEMAN
Two Bays, 17&U
A talented midcourter with dynamic movement, Bridgeman possesses impressive closing speed, allowing her to shut down opponents effectively and create key opportunities for her team.
The Casey Netball Association product is a versatile an reliable asset for Two Bays who consistently makes an impact when she steps on the court.
ABBIE RIXON
Two Bays, 17&U
With accuary and instinctive positioning her key attributes, Rixon is a standout in the goal circle for both Two Bays and in the Mornington Peninsula Netball Association.
The attacker is a constant threat to defenders as she uses her dynamic movement and skill.
Rixon is also a strong leader and will be one of the goalers to watch in the 17&U competition.
POPPY LYON
Two Bays, 17&U
Coming out of the Chelsea Netball Association is a smart and versatile netballer in Rixon who is adept at reading the play.
Look for her to confidently drive the ball out of defence with strong, accurate passes to hit targets and set up her side.
Rixon’s ability to intercept and play solid one-on-one defence makes her a valuable player for Two Bays with the ability to move seamlessly across goal defence, wing defence and goal keeper.
LUCY HOWLAND
Western, 15&U
Howland is a rising star out of the Hampden FNL and looks set to be an important piece for Western’s 15&U outfit.
The talented midcourter has great speed and agility, watch for her to make a consistent impact across several matches in the round robin tournament.
RUSHLEIGH JEFFERIES
Western, 15&U
A key pillar in Western’s back half, Jefferies is a defender who will make her opposing gaolers work hard for their scores.
Her height, body strength, footwork and rock solid one-on-one defence are her top qualities.
PIPER STEVENS
Western, 17&U
Another Hampden FNL set to represent Western, Stevens will use her athleticism and elevation to influence on offence for the 17&U side.
The goal attack is known for her exciting play and accurate shooting.
SHELBY O’SULLIVAN
Western, 17&U
Dynamic, quick and smart – O’Sullivan is a midcourter to watch for Western.
Adept at both centre and wing attack positions, her ability to change direction and open up the angles for her side makes her a standout ahead of the titles.
