It was a day of action packed day of basketball on Court 2 of the U18 Club Championships during the penultimate day of action in Perth.

Game 2 saw the Joondalup Wolves girls claim a triumphant victory over the Rockingham Flames in a one sided affair.

The Wolves ran away to a comfortable 61-38 victory and a spot in the final tomorrow.

Keilor held off a plucky Norths the following game, finishing the right side of a 69-60 scoreline despite leading 45-29 at the half.

Knox won the final game of the day in another close clash, holding on to a tight lead that saw them finish with a 70-63 win.

PREVIEW

Surprisingly beaten in the girls quarterfinals on Friday, NSW visitor Norths Bears have now been thrust into a showdown with a familiar foe as they look to leave the BA U18 Club Championships with the highest possible finish.

Norths, who arrived in Perth with a young team but still full of optimism, take on fellow Sydneysider Hills Hornets in the opening game on Court 2.

Hills proved no match for Sandringham Sabres in their quarterfinal.

One of the NSW sides is set to back up later in the day in the 5th/6th playoff.

WA girls sides Joondalup Wolves and Rockingham Flames will be looking to put a positive seal on their week’s work late in the day, while the two boys games feature Binar and Tasmania Devils and Perry Lakes Hawks and Knox Raiders.
