Trinity big men Bailey Macarthu and Ethan Marten-Coney did all the damage early fpor the Sydney side, using their size and skill to make the most of second chance opportunities around the rim.

Henley High had their spirits crushed in the women’s decider after the side missed a last second lay-up to lose to Southport State High 47-46 in the gold medal decider.

Down by one with 10 seconds to go, Henley found impresive guard Lakeisha Sheffield who managed to drive to the basket but agonosingly watched the ball fall short.

It is a fitting finale in the women’s division with the two top sides from the pool stages battling it out for the gold medal.
