WA and the ACT have both experienced mixed tournaments so far in Ballarat but they will need to put that quickly behind them.
Standing in WA’s way of progression is the dangerous New South Wales at 3pm, while the girls from the capital take on reigning champions Victoria at 1pm.
Then it will be the men’s turn to hit the court for back-to-back quarter-finals.
WA comes into their clash with Queensland as the higher ranked side after finishing second in Pool A but will be wary of a fired up Roman Siulepa and Indy Cotton-led Maroons side.
Then South Australia, who impressed with a clutch win over Queensland on Thursday, take on Tasmania with their dangerous duo of Jacob Furphy and Nash Walker.
