Two girls sides at either end of the country have shown up in a big way on the opening day of the Under-14 Club Championships in Casey.
The South Adelaide Panthers and Ipswich Force made thrilling starts to their tournaments headling a big day of actio on courts 6 and 10 on Sunday.

Georgie Thur led the way for the Panthers with 22 points in their 40-point win over Northside Wizards, while it was Force sharpshooter Cassius Fauatea who did all the damage in their win over Sutherland Sharks.
Fauatea hit six three-pointers in a personal haul of 27 points as the Force blew the Sharks out of the water with a 67-28 win.
Forestville Eagles girls also soared in their opening clash, picking up a 69-38 win over he Tasmania Southern Kangaroos.

Impressively every single one of the Eagles squad found their way onto the score-sheet in a show of the depth of talent coming out of Forestville.
Logan Thunder also picked up back-to-back wins across both divisions with their girls side knocking off the Darwin Cyclones by 16 points while the Thunder boys were dominant in an 82-58 win over Sturt Sabres.

South Australia girls champion South Adelaide Panthers tip off their national campaign with what promises to be one of games of the day.
KommunityTV will broadcast over 200 games LIVE and EXCLUSIVE on six courts at the U14 Club Championships at Casey in Melbourne’s south-east suburbs over six days from Sunday.
Each day of the coverage will feature three LIVE stories showcasing two courts each.
That split will be Courts 1 and 3, Courts 6 and 10 and, finally, Courts 5 and 9.
Catch seven games on each of Courts 6 and 10 on Sunday, starting at 9am.

South Australia has a huge hand on both courts, with Sturt Sabres, Forestville Eagles, North Adelaide Rockets as well as the Panthers all featuring.
The Panthers can set a positive tone nice and early for SA clubs when they face Brisbane big guns Northside Wizards in the first game on Court 10.
The Wizards performed well in the recent Queensland State Champs and will prove formidable opponents.
Sturt have both their boys and girls teams playing four times on the two courts on Sunday.
The boys face two tough games on Court 10, first up against Queensland’s Logan Thunder before an early evening showdown with Penrith Panthers on the same court, while the girls take on Frankston Blues on Court 6 before moving over to Court 10 to play Darwin Cyclones.

Tasmanian teams on the agenda for the other two SA teams. Forestville girls play the Southern Kangaroos on Court 6 at midday, while North Adelaide tackle the North West Devils on Court 10 at 3pm.
