Live stream: How to watch the Basketball Victoria National Junior Classic with News Corp

It’s going to be a huge three days at the National Junior Classic - and now we can disclose which teams will be front and centre. See the confirmed schedule and find out how you can watch.

The live stream schedule for News Corp’s coverage of this weekend’s National Junior Classic has been confirmed.

Thanks to a partnership between Basketball Victoria and News Corp, you’ll be able to watch 128 games across the entire weekend starting at 8.30am on Saturday morning with six games.

The matches featured then are: U14 Girls – Keilor v Eastern Mavericks, U12 Girls – Frankston v West Adelaide, U16 Girls – Hawthorn v West Adelaide, U18 Girls – Eastern Mavericks v Bulleen, U16 Girls – Canberra v Casey and U18 Girls – Frankston v Forestville.

Coverage of the event will be held across two different stories with links set to be available to each venue so you can tune into the action live.

The exclusive live stream will also include all top division grand finals live on News Corp websites on the Monday public holiday.

The National Junior Classic is the premier junior basketball tournament in the country and has featured some of Australia’s top global talents including Josh Giddey, Alanna Smith and Jock Landale.

News Sport Network managing director Michael Wilkins said it was exciting to be the exclusive destination to follow the action.

“The National Junior Classic will also be one of the biggest undertakings of the News Sport Live Streaming business, with action broadcast live from six courts across two venues over the long weekend.

“If you can't be courtside in Melbourne, then we have got you the best seat in the house.”

Basketball Victoria’s general manager of leagues and competitions Greg Jeffers said the organisation's partnership with News Corp would go to the “next level” with the livestreaming of the tournament

“This is an extremely popular and well-received tournament across the basketball community and we’re excited to see a record number of games livestreamed for everyone to watch throughout Australia,” he said.
